Yin yoga
Yin yoga is a chilled out practice done mostly sitting or lying down. It’s designed to create opening in the body’s connective tissues to give you a really deep stretch. We work with long holds and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine . It’s great for recovery and relaxation, and is beneficial to both mind and body.
Hot yoga
Practised in a heated room (temperatures vary between 34-37 degrees), hot yoga is an intense physical experience designed to stretch, strengthen, rejuvenate and energise the whole body. The intensity of the heat can help focus the mind, draw attention to the breath, and challenges most people in a different way every time they step onto the mat.
Vinyasa yoga
A flowing workout for the body and mind, connecting breath with movement to increase health, wellbeing, strength, flexibility and core stability. Vinyasa classes stoke your internal fire and boost the heart rate as you move through a sequence consisting of sun salutations, standing, balancing, seated, twisted and inverted postures. Practitioners will leave class feeling energised and centered.
Private sessions
Private sessions are great for practitioners who want to take their yogic experience and skills to the next level, and are equally suitable for those recovering from surgery or injury. We’ll work with you one-on-one to develop a tailored program that meets all your needs.
Corporate yoga
Want to boost productivity in the workplace? Why not reward your employees with a before work, lunch time or post-work yoga session? Corporate yoga is a great way to encourage wellness and positivity in your workforce, not to mention it helps reduce sickness, lethargy and 3.30-itis! Programs can be self-funded by participants, subsidised or paid for in full by the employer. Yoga Leela can come to you, and provide mats as required.
